The Association of Resident Doctors (ARD), Jos University Teaching Hospital held it’s Ordinary General Meeting (OGM) on Friday January 24th, 2025 at the Histopathology Seminar Hall, JUTH Lamingo.
Matters discussed during the OGM includes the 2024/25 budget which was unanimously approved and passed by the Congress.
Sundry issues regarding MRTF 2025, Local Residency Training and Accoutrement Allowances, Conmess arrears and ARD Secretariat Building Project were extensively discussed at the meeting.
Other discussions centered around the welfare of residents and staff including proposed new projects by the executive council.
Highlight of the OGM was the purchase of Starlink internet network for ARD JUTH by the Dr. Kwarshak Kevin-led administration. This is a seamless, reliable and unlimited network connection for all congressmen and women.
The election of the Assistant General Secretary also took place with Dr. Micah Bannang of Orthopaedics and Trauma department emerging victorious and He was immediately sworn into office.
