Dr Bulus Nansak Gwakbong is a distinguished Nigerian medical doctor and Otorhinolaryngologist in training. He was born on October 14, many years ago in Otukpo, Benue State, Nigeria to the family of Mr Bulus Gwakbong and Mrs Juliana Bulus. He hails from Zamgwar, Langtang North, Plateau State, and is proudly Christian.
Nansak’s educational journey began at LEA Pallam Pilot Primary School, Langtang, where he graduated with FSLC in 1999. He then attended Cooper Memorial Secondary School, Langtang, graduating in 2005. He furthered his studies at the University of Jos, earning his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 2015.
Following his graduation, Nansak completed his internship at Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) in 2016 and served as a Youth Corps member in Sokoto State in 2017.
Throughout his career, Nansak has achieved notable milestones, including becoming a Member of the West African College of Surgeons (MWACS) Faculty of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. His exceptional work has earned him prestigious awards, such as the Medical Leadership Award by TAROSA National body, Bronze Medals in the JUCAST 2024 Tournament.
In his personal life, Nansak is a devoted family man, married with a beautiful daughter. He enjoys playing volleyball, watching movies, and exploring new destinations and also enjoys politics, currently the General Secretary of ARD JUTH.
Currently, Dr. Bulus Nansak Gwakbong resides in Haske Quarters, Gwafan, Jos, where he continues to practice medicine and make meaningful contributions to his community.
