

DR MICAH BANNANG was born in the ancient town of Zonkwa, Kaduna Sate, Dr. Micah Bannang had his Primary and Secondary Education in same town after which he immediately left for Kaduna State University, Kaduna where he got admission and studied Medicine and Surgery.
The challenges of the new medical school and being part of the pioneer set made the reserved Dr. Micah to have to come out of his shelf to join other like minds in engaging the school management and state government in several attempts to see to an end, the challenges stalling the growth of the new college of medicine. That gave him the opportunity and exposure to learn leadership and dialogue skills.
After graduation, he went on to do his House job at Federal Medical Centre, Birnin Kudu, Jigawa state and then his mandatory NYSC at General Hospital Dutse in same Jigawa State.
During the course of these years, he was opportune to serve in various capacities including but not limited to, Director of welfare (2012/2013), Member constitution review committee (2019), ELCOM Chairman (2020) for Kaduna State University Medical Students Association (KASUMSA). National Director Standing Committee on Research Exchange (2014/2015), Secretary Northern Caucus (2016/2017), Chief of Staff to the President(2019) for Nigerian Medical Students Association ( NiMSA). Member Constitution review committee (2017), Secretary caretaker committee (2017) for National Association of Kaduna state Medical Students (NAKAMS). State Administrator for Atiku Abubakar Independent Volunteer Movement (ATIVM) (2019), National Youth Leader for Youths Entrepreneurs and Students for Atiku (YES Atiku) (2019). House Officers’ Rep and Assistant General Secretary for ARD FMC Birnin Kudu (2021/2022) and many others.
He has received many awards including but not limited to Award of excellence by Kaduna Medical Students Association in recognition of selfless service and contribution to community growth and development (2022), Award of honour by Management of Kaduna State University as a pioneer medical graduate of the university (2020).
He loves to watch and read news, play volleyball and badminton and scrabble.
He is currently a registrar in the department of Orthopedics and Trauma and also the Assistant General Secretary of ARD JUTH.
DR. NKECHI OKOLO is a young doctor with about 5 years experience in medical practice, currently working as a resident doctor in the internal medicine department of the Jos University teaching hospital.
Passionate about health care, She has worked in various institutions,both private and public seeking to contribute her quota towards better health care service in Nigeria
As a student at her alma mater, Nkechi served in various capacities in the leadership arm of Bingham medical student association and Nigerian medical student association
She served as the assistant general secretary of BHUMSA and 2 time vice president, vice chair person of the NIMSA northern caucus.
She enjoys reading and outdoor walking , and dancing in her leisure time and is very passionate about leadership.
she is the current welfare secretary of ARD JUTH.
DR. KWARSHAK KEVIN obtained his First School Leaving Certificate from LGEA Primary School Mile 8 Fier, Pankshin, and Secondary School Certificate from United Tongfom Fellowship College, Pankshin. He subsequently graduated with a MBBS degree from the University of Jos. He obtained Masters in Global Health Health and Management and Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health, at the University of Aberdeen, UK and Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK, where he graduated with Distinction from both institutions.
A recipient of multiple international scholarships, including the prestigious Chevening Scholarship.
Dr. Kwarshak has held numerous leadership positions within and outside Nigeria. His roles include Chairman of the Plateau Medical Final Year Student Project Committee, House Officer Representative at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe, and President of the Jos University Medical Students Association (JUMSA). Internationally, he served as the Representative of Global Health Master’s Students on the Student Union of the University of Aberdeen, UK. Domestically, he has served as a two-term President of the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) and has chaired or served as secretary on various committees.
Passionate about mentoring, Dr. Kwarshak has coached and continues to guide young leaders who now excel in various institutions.
He is currently the President of the Association of Resident Doctors, JUTH, and the Secretary of the Maiden Plateau State Business Coalition Health Summit.

His hobbies include playing football, engaging in intelligent conversations, solving problems, helping people and political discussions.
DR. GOLIS WILLIAMS CHRISTOPHER was born in the ancient city of Zaria to the family of Nde and Mrs Christopher and Lucy Golis of Wuseli Village of Pankshin LGA Plateau State.
He obtained his first school leaving certificate from LEAII Primary school Yelwa Shendam in 1999 and graduated from GSSBET Pankshin in 2007, got admission into the university of Jos and studied medicine and surgery in 2008 and graduated in 2017.
He did his housemanship in JUTH, was exemted from the NYSC for age and worked at Police Clinic Jos till December 2019 where he was employed as casualty officer in JUTH and worked for two years before converting to residency in the department of internal medicine. Currently a senior registrar.
He loves being part of his church’s choir, playing football, and watching action movies.
He has held many leadership positions, including senior prefect, President Young Catholic students, YCS, Pankshin area, Senator JUMSA parliament 2012 to 2017, chairman, JUMSA Health week committee, 2015, Former PRO, Asst. General Secretary, and immediate past General Secretary of ARD JUTH.

DR. JUSTICE OHWOJEHERI was born on June 20th to the family of Chief Moses Ohwojeheri and Mrs Regina Ohwojeheri of Eku town, Delta State. He had his primary and secondary education in Delsu Staff School, Abraka and proceeded to study Microbiology in Delta State University, Abraka graduating in 2005. He did his National Youth Service (NYSC) in General Hospital, Yelwa-Yauri, Kebbi State.
He proceeded to the University of Benin, Benin-city obtaining his MBBS in 2014. Dr Justice did his Housemanship in Plateau State Specialist Hospital. He started his residency training in Jos University Teaching Hospital JUTH in 2019. He is currently a senior registrar in the department of Anaesthesia.
Positions held include Secretary-General NAMS, President Altar Boys Association, Coordinator Charity Club and Founder Nigerian Doctors Forum NDF. He has served in Endowment Fund, Publicity and OGM planning committees.
He was voted Resident of the Year in Anaesthesia department, Best Club Coordinator (NYSC), and recipient of Commendation Award by the Commander NNRH CRS. He is a former JUTH Scrabble champion and current ARD JUTH Scrabble champion. His hobbies include playing Scrabble, surfing the net and traveling. He is a Catholic and is married to his beautiful wife Elizabeth.

DR. AKPOMUSHI EGGA was born to the family of Mr and Mrs Sule Kudu Egga in Jos Plateau State.
She hails from Nassarawa Eggon LGA of Nasarawa State.
She had her primary school education in Jos, and her secondary school education in Federal Government Girl’s College Bwari Abuja before obtaining her MBBS in the Jos University Teaching Hospital.
She has worked in different hospital settings delivery quality healthcare services and helped in fostering medical education.
Writing and editorial work experience began in CMDA- Students where she served at both school and national editorial board, and as as editor of her youth fellowship magazine for several years.
She has been a member of ARD JUTH publication committee and has served as Deputy Editor in chief for 2 years.
DR. JOY RINGLE AYUBA Nee Nimzing was born in Plateau State to the family of Dr. and Prof. F.J Nimzing of Langtang North LGA, Plateau State.
She attended Plateau Private School (primary education) then later Canaan High School, Jos for her secondary school. She got admission to study Medicine and Surgery in the University of Jos where she graduated in 2015.
Joy did her housemanship and NYSC in JUTH afterwhich she started her residency training in the Department of Internal Medicine (2019) in the same institution and is currently a Senior Registrar in the Nephrology Unit, Internal Medicine Department.
She loves sleeping, watching movies, playing scrabble and volleyball. Some leadership positions she has held include O&G Class Representative, Chief House Officer, Treasurer/ Financial Secretary- CMDA, Plateau State Chapter, Treasurer ARD JUTH and is serving as the current TREASURER ARD JUTH.
DR. COLUMBA JOANNES TIZHE born in Bauchi state, Nigeria to the family of Dr. and pharm (Mrs) Columba Vakuru from michika LGA , Adamawa state .
Graduated his secondary school, St Peter’s college in 2014 . Got admission into Bingham university , in 2014 and graduated with MBBS in 2023 .
Hobbies includes watching movies and dancing.
Positions held include class rep in primary school, laboratory & library prefect in secondary school , director of Socials 1 in the university and is currently the house officers’ representative.
DR. PHILIP ADEWALE ADEOYE was born to the family of Rev. and Mrs. Akintola and Bolanle Adeoye on the 19th January. He attended Ogbomoso Baptist High School and the School of Science – Ogbomoso for his secondary education; and Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and University of Malaya for his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, respectively.
He Was a House-Officer with Federal Medical Centre- Ido-Ekiti, Ekiti State; where he was awarded the Best House-officer of the Year. He was a Medical Officer (NYSC) with the Rivers State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, from where he was posted to a model Primary Healthcare centre in Queens Town, Opobo-Nkoro LGA. He had also served as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Population Health, University of Malaya.
He is a member of many academic and professional associations nationally and internationally. He has published journal articles and a book chapter in peer-reviewed international and national journals and books. He is a reviewer for national and international peer-review journals. He is on the editorial board of the Journal of Women and Child Health . He is currently a Senior Registrar in the Department of Community Medicine, Jos University Teaching Hospital. He shall be serving this association, and the Jos Journal of Medicine for the next one year as its Editor-in-Chief.
DR. AKUBUKO STANLEY O. was born in Nsukka, Enugu State but hails from Ezeagu LGA.
Obtained first school leaving certificate from Township primary school in 2003. Graduated from the prestigious college: Saint Teresa’s college Nsukka in 2009.
Got into the University of Nigeria Nsukka and subsequently graduated in 2016.
Did housemanship at Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching Hospital Nnewi Anambra State. However served at Specialist Hospital Sokoto and subsequently employed as a registrar in Surgery Department at Jos University Teaching Hospital. Presently a senior registrar in Plastic Surgery.
I love children ministry and lawn tennis game. Have held many position as Charismatic fellowship coordinator and president of all Nigerian Federation of Catholic Student. Served as secretary of 2024 AGM and currently serving as the financial secretary of ARD JUTH.
Dr Bulus Nansak Gwakbong is a distinguished Nigerian medical doctor and Otorhinolaryngologist in training. He was born on October 14, many years ago in Otukpo, Benue State, Nigeria to the family of Mr Bulus Gwakbong and Mrs Juliana Bulus. He hails from Zamgwar, Langtang North, Plateau State, and is proudly Christian.
Nansak’s educational journey began at LEA Pallam Pilot Primary School, Langtang, where he graduated with FSLC in 1999. He then attended Cooper Memorial Secondary School, Langtang, graduating in 2005. He furthered his studies at the University of Jos, earning his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 2015.
Following his graduation, Nansak completed his internship at Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) in 2016 and served as a Youth Corps member in Sokoto State in 2017.
Throughout his career, Nansak has achieved notable milestones, including becoming a Member of the West African College of Surgeons (MWACS) Faculty of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. His exceptional work has earned him prestigious awards, such as the Medical Leadership Award by TAROSA National body, Bronze Medals in the JUCAST 2024 Tournament.
In his personal life, Nansak is a devoted family man, married with a beautiful daughter. He enjoys playing volleyball, watching movies, and exploring new destinations and also enjoys politics, currently the General Secretary of ARD JUTH.
Currently, Dr. Bulus Nansak Gwakbong resides in Haske Quarters, Gwafan, Jos, where he continues to practice medicine and make meaningful contributions to his community.
DR. BEN JAMES EVESHOJIAME was born to the family of Mr. and Mrs. John and Elizabeth Ben on 18th May. He attended Jos University Women Association nursery and primary school from 1992 to 1995, Jos University primary school from 1995 to 2001, Air Force Military School, Jos from 2001 to 2007 and graduated from the prestigious University of Jos in 2016.
He was a house officer with the Federal Medical Center, Azare, Bauchi and served as a corps member with University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada. He was posted to the hospital’s cottage center in a little town called Dobi.
He has many certificates and two diplomas in data analysis and public health administration. He is currently a Senior Registrar with the Department of Anatomic Pathology and Forensic Medicine, JUTH. He is a former Public Relations Officer of the association and shall be serving for the next one year as VICE PRESIDENT.
